On Thursday, September 25, and monthly (see speaker schedule) instead of our usual breakfast meeting at the Marriott, we will be meeting at Pontiac Head Start for a service day. Please note: the meeting time will change from 7:30am to 8:45am. The children don't arrive until 8:30, so they will be ready for us at 8:45. We will be reading and interacting with them for 30-45 minutes.

As you know from participating with Head Start during Children's Holiday Wish, Head Start is a comprehensive preschool experience designed to prepare three-to-five year old children, including children with disabilities, for social and educational success. Head Start focuses on the needs of the entire family, as they relate to the development of the child.

Pontiac Head Start is located at 196 Cesar E. Chavez, Pontiac, MI 48343 ("A" on the map). It is the tall, red brick building when the curve of Cesar E. Chavez straightens out just off the Woodward Loop. The building is at the intersection of Cesar E. Chavez and Baldwin. The parking lot entrance is BEFORE the building, and both are on your right side if you are taking the loop to get there.
