Two photos of members of the Bloomfield Hills Optimist Club who visited the Hall of Justice to celebrate Law Day.

The first photo is with Court of Appeals Judge Don Owens (center with tie). The second photo is with Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Clifford W. Taylor (Green Tie).

Club members visited the Learning Center, a 3,800 square foot interactive gallery on the first floor of the Hall of Justice, that highlights the judicial branch of government. They heard about Restorative Justice and visited with Court of Appeals Judge Don Owens.

They also visited the Michigan Supreme Court courtroom where they were welcomed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Clifford W. Taylor.  He told many stories about the court history.  We could have stayed another hour.
